Youth Support for Police Recruitment

Police, SRPF, Forest Guard recruitment are some of the most sought-after employment opportunities by youth from Vikramgad, Palghar region. This is more prevailing in those areas where we have more drop-outs from further education after 12th standard. Though such recruitment does not get announced by state government every year, this year, it appears to be a good possibility and youth around the region are keen to make the best of this opportunity. We see lot of seriousness and sincerity in efforts by some of the youth from Vehelpada, Janathepada and Yashwant Nagar region.
However, challenges they face in this drive are also many:
- Lack of overall guidance, regular motivation and support
- Limited/no access to coaching for physical exercise and curriculum of written exams,
- Non-availability of books and sample exam papers,
- Non-availability of accessories like running shoes, lack of regular motivation and support, etc.
Suhrid Foundation pitched-in with help from multiple areas:
- Enhancement to diet with additional protein intake (protein powder)
- Common library of books for students to study required for these competitive exams
- Providing access to paid study circles for candidates for lectures and sample test papers
- Providing running shoes
- Weekly meet for guidance and motivation
- Providing guidance from professional trainers
Suhrid Foundation wishes them best luck and looks forward to work with more such youth from other areas too. We thank and support some of the teachers who participate wholeheartedly for guiding these children along with us on regular basis.
