Dadade Camp & Sports Goods Distribution

We typically conduct 2 health check up camps at each of our supported schools including Ashramshalas. The first set of camps happen as soon as schools open and in the initial period of monsoon when illnesses are at their peak. Second set is towards the end of academic year and just before the exams – i.e. in Jan and Feb.
The second phase we started with Arvind Ashramshala, Dadade. We have been supporting 350 girls of this Ashramshala for health for over 5 years now, having medical history maintained for these girls. With regular follow-up with hostel warden and additionally supplied medicines, the illnesses are in control. No major illness was reported at gross level.
The visit additionally, included distribution of sports goods for all schools. This was supported by Rotary Club (Bombay Bayview). We had given them school-wise list and appropriate packages were delivered by Rotary team. Suhrid members along with Rotary team visited two schools to distribute the goods. Rotary team was pleased to see earlier provided (2 years back) goods in good condition in these schools. Supply of such goods and constant motivation has improved schools effective participation in their competitions and schools started winning at various levels including some schools reaching up to district level competition.
