Upgrade to School Libraries

Suhrid Foundation has maintained small library in each of the 11 schools. Every year, there is upgrade to these libraries by adding few books – story books, books which can enhance study, some new charts for display etc.

Idea behind this initiative is to develop habit of reading in children, let them learn new things outside of their curriculum, let teachers come across new ways to teach etc. This has well reciprocated by teachers and children. Teachers encourage kids to read by giving special time for reading few days in the school itself. To ensure that their interest remains alive, we keep adding new books to this mini library in each school.
