Khandeghar – Happiness All Around

Khandeghar is one of our supported school for last 10 years. While we had got its infrastructure (compound, toilet, school painting etc) to a level, it still needed few things to make it a model/ complete school in itself. The small, but important factor of playground equipment – such as swing, slides, see-saw, merry-go-round etc was pending.
These equipment offers numerous benefits for children’s physical health, mental well-being, and overall social development. Engaging with playground structures like slides, swings, and climbing frames promotes physical activity, which is essential for building strength, coordination, and balance. Beyond physical health, playground equipment contributes to children’s cognitive, social development, team work, communication skills – resulting in developing creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking, as children navigate obstacles or invent games. Above all, adds an Happiness Quotient to school.
Rotary Club of Bombay Bayview supported our requirement of providing playground equipments in Khandeghar. We thank entire team of RCBB on behalf of children from Khandeghar and team Suhrid.
