Emergency Relief after Cyclonic Storm

In response to the devastating storm and heavy rains that struck parts of Palghar district , particularly near Bandhan in the Vikramgad area on 25th May 2025, Suhrid Foundation had initiated emergency relief efforts to support affected communities. The storm caused extensive damage to homes, with many roofs blown away and walls collapsed, rendering several houses uninhabitable. Displaced residents had to temporarily take shelter with neighbors, having lost most of their belongings to the harsh weather. Local authorities have begun surveying the damage, but immediate assistance was uncertain.
Suhrid Foundation Distributes Essential Ration Kits to Affected Villages
To alleviate the hardship faced by these families, Suhrid Foundation had begun distributing essential ration kits designed to last them for 12–15 days. Each kit included rice, dal, oil, salt, spices, sugar, and tea. With generous support from our donors, the Foundation successfully completed distribution in three affected villages. Despite the widespread destruction—including fallen trees and impassable roads—the relief brought visible comfort to the affected residents. We extend heartfelt thanks to all supporters and encourage continued contributions to help reach over 400 families in need.
