Dolhari – Distribution of Glasses

After successful camp of 14-Apr-13, Suhrid Foundation distributed prescription glasses to patients who were identified for correction. Total 120 villagers got spectacles. Leaders in the village helped to gather people from different villages for this distribution.
Team also discussion some of the cases of eyes for which further operation was required. One important case from the list was of Umesh (picture below) who had juvenile cataract. Umesh 8 years and has not had clear vision since his birth. With operation, he has a chance of having normal vision over the period. Team Suhrid would be helping him get operated. His parents are illiterate and would not be able to get him to a center where he can be operated – on their own.
