Talyacha Pada – New School Inclusion

Talyacha Pada (a hamlet in Wehelpada in Vikramgadh in Thane district) is 120kms from Borivali. School which started in 2003 has a beautiful location with large ground in front. Team Suhrid visited the school on 23-Nov-2013 with intention to include them in the project SUN and other educational programs of Suhrid Foundation.
Team met with children, teacher. Team also provided school games, books for library and starting kit of clean drinking water and also initiated project SUN (nutrition enrichment program of Suhrid Foundation).
WITH INCLUSION OF THIS SCHOOL, COUNT OF SCHOOLS SUPPORTED BY SUHRID FOUNDATION REACHES TO 8 AND NUMBER OF CHILDREN REACHING 510!More details about the schools can be found on school page.
In this visit, team also visit Palava Pada – Anantpur school. The meeting was held with all the teachers of eight schools. The findings from the camp on 20-Oct-13 were discussed. Sirs were communicated with the changes required from nutrition and hygiene point of view. In this meeting, additional library books, maps, sports items and de-worming medicines for next 2 months were provided.
