Kas Pada – New School Inclusion

Suhrid Foundation visited a new school at Kas Pada in Vikragadh Taluka on 23-Aug-13. The purpose of this visit was to review and include the school in the list of schools supported by Suhrid Foundation.
Team Suhrid visited the school, met with students and teachers. School kids had waited post their regular school to welcome Team Suhrid. Kids were given games by Team Suhrid.With inclusion of this school, count of schools supported by Suhrid Foundation reaches to 6 and number of students reaching 410!
School has 4 classes (1st to 4th) and 59 students from 3 nearby hamlets/villages are managed by 2 teachers. More details of the school on the school page. It is planned to kick-off Nutrition Enhancement project – SUN of Suhrid Foundation in this school on 02-Sep-13.
Team also visited one of the schools – Gurav Pada – where Suhrid team distributed sports equipment. This included footballs, lagori, cricket balls, skipping ropes, rings and other instruments such as lezim to carry out their physical exercise and cultural activities.
