Khandeghar – New School Inclusion

Suhrid Foundation visited a new school at Khandeghar in Vikragadh Taluka on 21-Jun-14. The purpose of this visit was to review and include the school in the list of schools supported by Suhrid Foundation. This is one of the first school inclusion under Suhrid Foundation support in academic year 2014-15.
Team Suhrid visited the school, met with students, teachers, parents and some of the key village seniors. School kids welcomeed Team Suhrid by offering flowers. Kids were given games – Carrom boards and Lego sets – by Team Suhrid.With inclusion of this school, count of schools supported by Suhrid Foundation reaches to 9 and number of students reaching 575!
School has 4 classes (1st to 4th), 41 students from nearby hamlets/villages and is managed by 2 teachers. More details of the school on the school page. It is planned to kick-off Nutrition Enhancement project – SUN – of Suhrid Foundation in this school from 23-Jun-2014.
