Mumbai – Advanced Medical Checkup

As a practice, the identified children from half-yearly medical camp done in the schools are brought to Mumbai for advanced check up of the problems which cannot be diagnosed or treated in our villages. 5 Children who did not show improvement with medicines in the camp of Jan 2018 or children who needed to undergo advanced medical investigations were brought to Mumbai along with their parents.
Suhrid team took them to various specialist doctors for investigations – 3 for Neuro and 2 for ENT specialist. Breakfast and lunch was arranged for children and theur parents. Required medicines, as prescribed by doctors, were also provided with instructions.
Though, over the period, the need for advanced medical check up has reduced. There is still improvement possible in the areas of ENT in which kids get ear infection due to prolonged cold. We would be working on this area further.
