Janathe Pada – Clothes Distribution

Team Suhrid visited an Adivasi village – Janathe Pada in Vikramgadh in Thane district – nearly 140 km from Mumbai. The visit was with a purpose of distributing the used clothes (duly cleaned) from families in Mumbai. This was handed over to the needy people in presence of Police Patil/Sarpanch (Smt Kusum Bhoye). More of such activities are planned in the future and associated people with Suhrid Foundations are requested to come forward to donate used clothes.
Team also discussed with Police Patil further about possible areas in which help is required in nearby villages from non-government organizations. It was identified that more association/help is required in health matters. Team Suhrid planned to arrange for a medical checkup for females and children on Sunday, 14-Oct-2012.
