We decided to cover Khandeghar school. As a part of the transfer process, both the teachers from Khandeghar were transferred to different village. We were lucky that the incoming teachers were associated with Suhrid foundation already. Hence, we did not have restart the complete process. We would be working on creating office/ storage space at the school since they have to manage with two cramped rooms, wherein most of the items are completely exposed.

Suhrid foundation sponsors the reinforcement of mid-day meals in each of the schools. While the kids get dal rice or khichadi as a part of the mid-day meal. We had asked teachers to add vegetables on three days, jaggery on three days and eggs on two days. We could see good improvement in terms of their overall growth. However, considering the fact that they have more holidays and their parents inability to provide the nutritious stuff, we have doubled the quantity of vegetables and made it 4 days a week. We have asked sirs to add gram and groundnut to boost the protein on alternate days.

This being a first visit post rains of the year, we also wanted to visit Kaspada checkdam and see accumulation of water in the same.

Our focus for the next two months would be on medical camps. We would be taking additional 300 kids at Mann Ashram Shala at Vikramgadh, who suffer regularly during the rains.
